It's Match day!

It is still us representing Ethiopia in Africa's great football tournament. It is St George that is waving Ethiopia's flag high. It is the Horsemen that are prevail to pair their club's flag with the Ethiopian flag. It was our St George that was in the good and bad times with Ethiopia since establishment.

And so Wednesday came. The day that was long awaited in the hearts of all St George fans has arrived. The day that was being countdown is here. The nights and days that didn't seem to end are gone. And the long Tuesday night is finally dawn and is match day.

On such days, children are beautified by St George colors. Youths get up from their sleepless beds bearing the hope in their hearts to make St George great in Africa. Elder lies that are libraries of St George put on their hats of "V" and March to stadium. They leave their homes with their scarf on their necks and their signs in their hands. For us all who were longing for this day, it’s match day.

Today is the day the Ethiopian St George will be crowned king at Addis Ababa. It's a day it will compete in Africa's biggest tournament. Today is St George's day. The army of the Champions will cheer them in all parts of the stadium. Our run is all about our tomorrow's greatness. Our singing today is to sit on our rightful throne. It is to record our name on the greatest tournament. Our run is with yesterday's St George history. Our competition is with our self.

Our aim is to record a history of our St George, we sing "there is no other" for, to be told to the world. Our dream is big. Our struggle is clear. It's to crown or beloved club and county crown king in Africa football.

There is glory where ever is St George. St George has achieved what was a mountain for Ethiopian clubs. And for this honor, there won't be anything we hold back today. St George is all Ethiopians beauty. St George our duty passed to us from generations. It's not we take of when we got hot and put back on when we get cold. It's our permanent honorary cloth.

CAF Champions League is our deserving tournament. Our place is high. Our St George is a sign of freedom that showed black is just a color not a reason for discrimination in the time Africa was in white’s hand who took blacks for less than humans. This tournament Africans participate in tailored fit for us. It's where we learn from winning, losing and drawing. It's a tournament the great Ethiopia is represented by the great St George.

St George will play against the Ugandan KCCA in CAF Champions League 1st round today at Addis Ababa stadium with kick-off 4:00pm.
