Natnael Zeleke, St George’s holding midfielder had a successful surgery at Fortis Health Care in Mumbai, India.



Natnael Zeleke, promoted from St George U-17 is now playing for the main team and the national team. He was a topic for many when the Portugal coach, Mariano Bareto gave him the role of a holding midfielder at young age in the national team. After he proved he could carry out his responsibilities, he showed a promise to St George and the national team and has been playing consistently in St George starting 11. He left his mark on 4 out of the 14 Ethiopian Premier League titles St George could achieve. He had vital part in the team that made new history when St George made it to African Champions League group stages.




Natnael Zeleke has been sustaining shoulder injury repeatedly since the past few years. But he used to recover and get back on the field within short time. Now he is in India to receive a permanent treatment that St George management arranged for him for his recurrent shoulder problem. We heard he headed to Mumbai 10 days back to start his follow up at Fortis Health Care.

The doctors at Fortis Health Care performed surgery for him in the past week. Natnael Zeleke told Yeferesegnochu Gets /የፈረሰኞቹ ገጽ/ that his surgery was a successful one. Natnael Zeleke, who is in a good health condition, did not complete treatment and still has follow up with his surgeons. He told Yeferesegnochu Gets /የፈረሰኞቹ ገጽ/ that his next visit could be the last one and it may be decided when he can come back to Addis Ababa and when he can start playing again.
