It's Matchday!
There is not much region in Ethiopia where St George fans have not been. They have been following their great club, be it to the North, South, East or West. The have waved St George’s flag high in parts of Ethiopia. They have toured Ethiopia talking and singing about St George wearing beautiful St George jersies.
We don’t think we are mistakie። when we say it is the furthest in Ethiopian Premier League trip history. This city established in 1818GC is the next city to be decorated by St George fans. St George fans who don’t back down for distance, weather changes and different states are on the move to Adigrat since the past few days.
Adigrat, on top of the usual yellow, will be decorated with colours of St George - yellow, red and orange. And will be like a painting made by a great artist. And will host the club that leads by far in Ethiopian football. The city habitants will meet St George and its fans, who they were only hearing about.
St George is not a club who travels to regions just because it is in the program. If it were, its fans would not have crossed 900 Kms (one way). St George das not have regional stadiums’ phobia. These fans knows this and does not leave their club alone and travelled 900 kms to Adigrat. They cheer their team with intense love. They do everything expected of them to grab 3 points and leave their print in the match.
St George will play in Ethiopian Premier League 8th week today against Welwalo Adigrat University at Adigrat University with kick off 3:00pm.
